How can a document be signed by the homeowner?

Albi allows you to send a document for signature, or get an e-signature directly from the homeowner. We will go over the steps of each process.

E-Signature 

When you are out in the fields and the homeowner wants to sign right there and then, e-signature is your best option. Albi will help you accomplish this by following the next steps

1. You will open the Albi mobile app and select "Projects"

2. Once you find the project you are looking for you will open it

3. On the bottom right-hand corner you will select "More"

4. Select "Files" and then "Documents"

                                                                

5. On the screen you will be able to see the documents that need signature, you must select the 3 dots on the one you choose to use

6. Go to "E-Signature"

7. Select the signature box and have the homeowner sign the document

                                       

8. Once you have saved the signature the document will appear as "Signed" in the documents folder. If you open the document you will be able to see the document with the time and date it was signed

 

 

                                                     
 
 
Send for Signature
Sending a document for signature is helpful when you are in the office and the homeowner wants to have the document sent to them. You don't have to drive out to get a signature you can send the document to the homeowner directly. 
1. You will open the Albi mobile app and select "Projects"
 

2. Once you find the project you are looking for you will open it

3. On the bottom right-hand corner you will select "More"

4. Select "Files" and then "Documents"

             

5. On the screen you will be able to see the documents that need signature, you must select the 3 dots on the one you choose to use

6. Go to "Send for Signature"

7. Before sending the document for signature you will be required to fill out information such as: 

Signers - you will enter the email (s) of how you want to send it to

Expiration Date - You can add an expiration date, after that date the homeowner will not be able to sign it anymore

Signing Message - any notes you want to add

8. Once you fill out the information you can hit "Review Signing". Albi will review the information and allow you to send it for signing

You click send and the homeowner will receive an email where they will be able to sign the document

9. Once the document is signed the document will appear as "Signed" in the folder. If you open the document you will be able to see the document with the time and date it was signed
