What Are Organizations and How Can I Use Them?

This article explains how to use Organizations in Albi to manage companies connected to your work, including viewing company details, tracking activities, and accessing related contacts and projects.

The Relationships section in the Albi mobile app is used to manage people and companies connected to your work. It stores and organizes Organizations and Contacts, allowing you to track relationships, communication, and project involvement in one place.

Relationships are accessed from the side menu (hamburger menu).


What Are Relationships?

Relationships represent the external and internal parties involved in your projects, such as: Customers, Vendors, Referrers, Partners,Individual contacts


Relationships are divided into:

  • Organizations
  • Contacts

 

 

What Is an Organization?

An Organization represents a company or business entity. This could include:

  • A customer company
  • A vendor or subcontractor
  • A referral source
  • A partner organization

Organizations allow you to group people, projects, and activities under one company.


Accessing Organizations

  • Open the side menu
  • Tap Relationships
  • Select Organizations



  • Tap an organization card to open it


 

Organization Profile Sections

Organization Info

  • Displays general company information
  • Can be edited using the Organization Info button
  • Includes details such as name, contact info, status, and other relevant fields

        

 

Activities

  • Shows all activities related to the organization
  • Includes calls, notes, events, and system actions
  • Helps track communication history with the company

You can:

  • View activities
  • Search activities
  • Create new activities

Contacts

  • Lists all contacts linked to the organization
  • Shows people associated with that company
  • Makes it easy to find the correct point of contact

Projects

  • Displays all projects associated with the organization
  • Helps you understand which jobs involve this company


 

Creating an Activity for an Organization

  • Tap the notepad icon
  • Fill in the required fields
  • Save the activity

This creates a permanent record of communication or interaction.
