Drybook2.0 Overview The old Drybook is now labeled as Drybook Legacy (Drybook V1). The new Drybook is simply labeled as "Drybook." In Drybook, green dots represent various data points and functionalities.
Drybook 2.0 Mobile App Guide
Drybook 2.0 is a powerful mobile application designed for efficient site management and data logging. This guide will walk you through the key features and functionalities of the app.
Accessing Drybook

From the Home Screen of the mobile app, select the projects tab from the left-hand menu.

Navigate to the project you would like to create a drybook for.

Navigate to the "More" section.

Click on "Drybook" to access the new Drybook interface.
Site Information
-
In Drybook, click on the Site Information card to begin entering details.
-
Next select from the static dropdown lists to fill out the Building section.

After enter in the Unaffected Room information
-
Finally, you have the option to take a photo or upload 1 Loss Image to the Site information under the Loss Image area. Underneath that section you will find Notes & Images. There you can take/upload as many photos associated to the Site Information as you would like, as well as include any notes you'd like listed in that section.

Select save at the bottom to save all the information entered for your Site.
Adding Chambers and Rooms

In Drybook, click on the plus icon to add a new chamber.

Enter chamber details such as Name, chamber number, class, starting temperature, and relative humidity. You also have the option to take/upload photos and add notes associated with the Chamber.

When selecting Chamber Number and Class the definition of the selected Number/Class will be listed below

Save the chamber to populate the starting GPP automatically. (Chamber must also be saved before you are able to add a Room)
Adding Room by Dimension Method
-
To add a room, click the plus icon and select dimension
-
Enter room details including dimensions, percentage of affected area, and ceiling height
-
Total Area will be automatically calculated based on the dimensions entered for the room.
-
Affected squared area will be automatically calculated based on the dimensions and percentage of area affected entered for the room.

0 will be automatically inputted in the Inches field when entering room measurements, this field is still editable, and inches can be adjusted.

You can also take/upload photos and add notes to the room, then hit save to create the room.

follow the same steps of selecting the plus icon in the room section if multiple rooms need to be added to a chamber. You can do this if you need to create multiple chambers as well by navigating back to the chamber section of the drybook and clicking the plus icon.

Adding Room by Sketch Method
-
To add a room, click the plus icon, type in the room name, and then select sketch

Room Sketch screen will open, and you can start sketching out room.

Arrow icon allows you to reset your sketch
-
settings icon allows you to manage different sketch settings
-
water drop icon allows you to add moisture points to your sketch
-
blue cog wheel allows you to add equipment to your sketch
-
Blue check mark allows you to save your sketch
-
You also have the ability to rotate your sketches by 90- and 180-degree angles
-

You can add breaks within your sketches by clicking 2 corners and drawing them out
-
Once sketch is saved, enter in the remaining information including percentage of affected floor area, ceiling height, and linear wall length.

You can also take/upload photos and add notes to the room, then hit save to finish creating the room.
TIP
-
Sketches can only be created on the mobile app, but you have the option to view them on the web app by selecting that room under its associated chamber and viewing the sketch created there. This sketch is not editable on the web app. Any changes in the sketch must be made through the mobile app. Sketches will also be available for viewing on the project drybook reports that are generated.
Editing Chamber and Rooms

To edit a Chamber, select the Chamber card you'd like to make edits on.

Enter in updated information for Chamber and then select save at the bottom to save the changes.

To edit a room, select the Chamber card you'd like to edit the room on.

Click the room you'd like to edit.
-
Enter in updated information for Room and then select save at the bottom to save the changes.
Deleting Chamber and Rooms

To delete a Chamber, select the Chamber card you'd like to delete.
-
Select the trash icon in the top right corner of the Chamber screen.
-
A verification message will pop up to ensure you want to delete the Chamber.

Select yes and this will delete your Chamber including any rooms, images, readings, and notes entered.

To delete a room, select the Chamber card that you want to delete a room on.
-
Scroll down and select the room you would like to delete.

Click the trash can icon in the top right corner of the Room screen.

A verification message will pop up to ensure you want to delete the Room.
-
Select yes and this will delete the Room information only including any images, readings, or notes associated with the room.
Moisture Points and Readings
Adding Moisture Points and Readings

Click the Moisture Point Card to begin creating moisture points.
-
Click the + icon to begin entering in the Moisture Point information.
-
Moisture Point Name will be automatically generated for you but you still have the ability to customize the Moisture Point Name as well
-
Select the Chamber and the Room that the Moisture Point is associated with then select the Surface and Material type of the Moisture Point

Material Types can be created on the web app only by going to Settings-->Project-->Moisture Point Types

Add notes that you'd like associated with your moisture point.

Also have the option to upload or take 1 image of the moisture point you created.
-
Make sure to fill out all the required fields.
-

Once all the information for the moisture point have been entered, select save and moisture point will be created.

Follow the above steps to continue adding any additional moisture points
Editing Moisture Points and Readings

Click on the moisture point card in which you'd like to edit.

Click and edit the fields you'd need to make changes on.
-
Scroll down to the bottom and select save to update your changes.
Deleting Moisture Points and Readings

Click on the moisture point card in which you'd like to delete
-
Click on the Trash Can icon.
-
A popup message will appear confirming that you want to delete this moisture point. (Action will cause any images, readings, and notes associated with the moisture point to be deleted)

Click yes, and moisture point card will be deleted from project drybook.
Equipment
Equipment recommendations will be given to you once all the room information is entered as it will be based on the room dimensions (ie: height, length, width of room, and chamber class).
Adding Equipment

Click on the Equipment card to begin adding equipment to the project drybook.

Click the + icon to begin adding Equipment information.
-
Select the Chamber and the Room from the drop-down fields that equipment will be placed in.
-
Placement User will automatically default the user adding the equipment; however this field is editable, and another staff member can be selected instead.
-
Placement Date and Time will also automatically populate but this can also be edited as well.
-
Click the Blue + symbol to select the piece of equipment you want to add.
-
Once you have selected the desired piece of equipment, click the check mark below, then save at the bottom and equipment is now added to project

Follow the steps above to continue adding any needed equipment
Moving/Removing Equipment

Click on the equipment card that you'd like to edit
-
moving equipment allows you to select a different chamber/room that you'd like to move that piece of equipment to. Select the blue Move button to complete the moving process.

removing equipment means the piece of equipment is needed for that room/chamber so you'd like to remove it and a removal date and time will be automatically added to your equipment information.

Deleting Equipment

Click on the equipment card in which you'd like to delete

Click on the delete button
-
A popup message will appear confirming that you want to delete this moisture point. (Action will cause the piece of equipment to be fully removed from the project and all dry logs)

Click yes, and moisture point card will be deleted from project drybook.
Creating Visits
-
Click on the Visit card to begin logging your visits.
-
Initial Visit is automatically created based on your site information. This will pull all the initial readings you did when you first added your moisture points, as well as allow you to input initial readings on the equipment you placed in the associated rooms. Click the different evaluation points to view the visit information.

The only thing you will need to enter in your Initial Visit is if any of your Evaluation Points had dehumidifiers added, you would obtain the initial reading by selecting the Dehu card and entering in the reading information. Hit save at the bottom to save your Dehu reading you entered.

You also have the option to add photos and notes associated with your visit. Only one image is allowed to be taking for your moisture reading.

To add additional visits to your project drybook, click the blue Add button towards the bottom of the screen
Editing Visits

Click the visit card that you'd like to edit.

You can edit the Date/Time of your current visit

You also have the option to edit your different evaluation points as well
-
Once information is updated, select save at the bottom.
Deleting Visits
-
Click the visit card that you'd like to edit.
-
Click the red Trash icon towards the right.
-
A pop-up message will appear indicating if you'd like to delete the visit, select Delete. (Action will cause any images, readings, and notes associated with the visit to be deleted)

Visit has now been deleted from drybook.
TIPS
-
Once a moisture meter is selected for the initial Moisture Point, that will be the moisture meter that is automatically selected when you are adding your additional readings. This can be edited, and you have the option to choose from another moisture meter already on your list or you can type in a new one and that will now be added to your meter list as well.

In your visit section, if any visits have a red or yellow dot, there is information that still needs to be entered into that visit. If the point is Green, then all the information has been added for the visit.

Once the moisture point has reached its goal content you will see a message stating goal has been met.
Drybook Progress Section
This section will allow you to keep track of your drying process for the Chambers and Rooms that you created for the project drybook. Choose from the different Chambers from the dropdown to view its progress. Once chamber is selected you can choose your specific room as well, you'd like to view progress for.

Outside and Unaffected Area reading will provide you with the calculated GPP for each visit that is created.

Chamber/Room reports will provide you with the progress in the Moisture Point Readings for each room and visit that is created.
TIP
From the drybook menu screen you can create a drybook report. Select the 3 dots towards the top right and select the create project report option. Report will generate and be sent to you via email once completed and can be found in the project file manager
Drybook 2.0 Web App
Accessing Drybook

Navigate to the project dashboard and select the project you'd like to create a drybook for.

Click the Drybook (Beta) tab and select the "Create Drybook" button.

Site information screen will load and you can begin to edit your site information
Site Information
-
Once you have selected the Create Drybook button, select edit to begin entering your site information

In the Outside section, click the cloud icon to have it automatically input the temperature and humidity based on your location

Select from the static list of Prevailing Weather Conditions
-
You will need to manually enter in the Site Elevation on the web app.

Next select from the static dropdown lists to fill out the Building section.

After entering in the Unaffected Room information, then select Save to save all the site information
-
Finally, you have the option to take a photo or upload 1 Loss Image to the Site information under the Loss Image area. As well as adding any needed Notes & Images. There you can take/upload as many photos associated to the Site Information as you would like, as well as include any notes you'd like listed in that section. Just click edit/upload on each card to upload/add to each section.

You can edit the site information at any time by selecting the Edit button on the Site Information Card.
Adding Chambers and Rooms by Dimensions

Navigate to the Chamber tab to begin adding your chambers and rooms to the drybook and click the blue "Create Chamber" button.

To edit a Chamber, select the Chamber you'd like to edit and hit the edit button.

Adding Moisture Points and Readings

Click the Moisture Point tab to begin creating moisture points.

Click the blue Add button to begin entering in the Moisture Point information.

Moisture Point Name will be automatically generated for you, but you still have the ability to customize the Moisture Point Name as well

Select the Chamber and the Room that the Moisture Point is associated with then select the Surface and Material type of the Moisture Point

Select from your list of "Available" equipment to add to your project drybook

Please be aware that if any equipment is currently in any other status other than "available", it will not show up on your equipment list to choose from.

Select the Chamber and the Room from the drop-down fields that equipment will be placed in.

Placement Date and Time will automatically populate but this can also be edited.

Once you have filled out all the required fields, then save at the bottom and equipment is now added to project.

Follow the steps above to continue adding any needed equipment
Adding Equipment through Project Basic Info

Navigate to the Assigned Equipment section on the project Basic Info screen and click the blue Add button

Select from the available equipment in the drop down list and hit save
-
A blue popup will appear showing you have successfully added the equipment to the project.
-
Now select the blue +Add to Drybook button to add that piece of equipment to the Chamber/Room of drybook.
-
Select the Chamber and Room the equipment should be associated with. You also have the option to edit the Placement date and time and add a removal date as well if needed. Hit save once all the information is entered.

Now equipment has been added to the project drybook.
Adding Unused Equipment to drybook

Navigate to the Equipment tab of the project drybook and look for the Project Unused Equipment section.

Select the blue +Add to Drybook button on the piece of equipment you'd like to add.
-
Select the Chamber and Room the equipment should be associated with. You also have the option to edit the Placement date and time and add a removal date as well if needed. Hit save once all the information is entered.

Now equipment has been added to the project drybook.

Click on the equipment card you'd like to make changes to and select the blue Edit button.

Creating Visits

Click on the Visit tab to begin logging your visits.

TIPS
-
Once a moisture meter is selected for the initial Moisture Point, that will be the moisture meter that is automatically selected when you are adding your additional readings. This can be edited, and you have the option to choose from another moisture meter already on your list or you can type in a new one and that will now be added to your meter list as well.

If Evalution Points under the visit section have a Red or Yellow dot, there is information that still needs to be entered into that point. If the point is Green then all the information has been added for the visit.
Drybook Progress Section
This section will allow you to keep track of your drying process for the Chambers and Rooms that you created for the project drybook

External Reports will provide you with the calculated GPP for Outside and Unaffected Area for each visit that is created.

Chamber reports will provide you with the progress in the Moisture Point Readings for each room and visit that is created.

You can also create your drybook report from the Progress section by selecting the blue Create Report button. Report will generate and be sent to you via email once completed and can be found in the project file manager.
