How Do I Create a Vehicle on The Home Screen in the Albi Mobile App?

Learn how to add a new vehicle to the Albi mobile app using the Add (+) button, including required and optional vehicle information.

The Add (+) button is used to create new records in the Albi mobile app. It allows you to quickly add information without having to search through different parts of the app.

You can find the Add (+) button on the Home screen. It appears as a blue plus (+) icon.

When you tap this button, a menu opens showing all the different items you can create.

Each option opens a form where you enter information step by step.

What is a Vehicle?

A Vehicle represents a company-owned vehicle, such as a van, truck, or car that staff use to travel to jobs.

How to create a vehicle

  1. Tap the Add (+) button
  2. Select Create Vehicle

  1. Fill in the required fields:
      • Name
      • Vehicle Type
      • License Plate Number
      • Location
        2.  Optional fields include:
  • Vehicle status
  • Assigned staff
  • Assigned project
  • Manufacturer, model, and VIN
  • Capacity details
  • Tap
         3.  Click Save
