CompanyCam Integration
Integrate CompanyCam with Albiware to streamline job site documentation and keep all project photos and media automatically connected to your projects. This integration allows Albi to create and sync projects with CompanyCam based on your workflow, making it easier for your team to capture, organize, and reference job site photos without extra manual steps.
Before You Start
Before setting up the integration, make sure the following requirements are met:
- You have an active Admin user account in both CompanyCam and Albi
- Your Albiware plan supports integrations (integrations are not available on Basic plans)
- You have an Admin or Manager role in Albi
- If you don’t, ask an Admin on your account to grant the required permissions
- If you don’t, ask an Admin on your account to grant the required permissions
Setup: Connect CompanyCam to Albiware

- Log in to your Albiware account
- Navigate to Settings → Integrations
- Locate CompanyCam and click Connect
A sidebar window will appear prompting you to enter your credentials.
Enter Your Admin Email
- Enter the Admin email address that matches both your CompanyCam and Albiware accounts
- The email must be the same in both systems for the integration to work
Generate a CompanyCam Access Token
Next, you’ll need to generate an Access Token from CompanyCam:
- Log in to your CompanyCam account
- Click your Profile Icon in the left menu

- Select Access Tokens
- Click + New Token, then select Create Token
- ⚠️ Do not check the “Read-only” box — this will prevent the integration from working

Once created, copy the Access Token.
Finish Connecting
- Paste the Access Token into the corresponding field in Albiware

- Click Connect

If successful, you’ll see a blue confirmation pop-up in the upper right corner of your screen indicating the integration is active.
How the Integration Works
After connecting, you can control when Albiware creates Projects in CompanyCam.

- Go back to Settings → Integrations
- Click the Companycam button
- Select Settings
You’ll see three configuration options. Choose the one that best matches your workflow, then click Save.

Project Creation Options
Option 1: Every Time Project Is Created
Automatically creates a CompanyCam Project as soon as a Project is created in Albiware.
Best for: Teams that want immediate photo documentation for every job.
Option 2: Certain Statuses
Creates a CompanyCam Project when an Albiware Project reaches one or more selected statuses.
Example:
- Project 123 → Status changes to In Production
Best for: Teams that only want CompanyCam projects once work officially begins.
Option 3: Certain Dates
Creates a CompanyCam Project when specific project dates are completed.
Example:
- Project 123 → Arrived on Site date completed
Best for: Teams that trigger documentation based on operational milestones.
